A crowded place (during the peak hours) with a very low profile ambience (except for the separate majlis set up for the traditional Arabic feel) which serves amazingly tasty Mandi. being a fan of Mandi, I have tried Mandi from different places but none has given me the real Mandi experience except Al Reem.
They serve Mandi in the authentic way along with tomato paste and cucumber salad. The rice is a bit oily unlike the normal Mandi rice. In spite of that mandi is finger licking delicious. The chicken is perfectly flavoured and cooked, with less of masala giving it the real arabic touch.
You get Mandi in different sizes, a half would suffice 2 persons, who eat really well and a single would be more than enough for one. The service is good and the food is reasonably priced.
I would say this is one of the best Mandi that you can get in Kochi! a must try place!
